EMC Planning Group is proud to announce Rachel Hawkins has joined its team as an assistant planner. Rachel has a Juris Doctor degree, with an environmental focus, from Golden Gate School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University at Chico.

Her responsibilities include the research, preparation, and production of environmental documents in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and assisting with permit processing and various other planning projects.

Prior to joining the EMC Planning Group team, Rachel completed a legal fellowship with the Institute for Fisheries Resources where she worked to ensure various agencies’ projects were in compliance with administrative regulations and environmental policies including CEQA and NEPA.
