Gail Bellenger, Archaeologist and Senior Biologist, Joins EMC Planning Group

July 1, 2018—Monterey, CA.

EMC Planning Group is proud to announce Gail Bellenger has joined its team as a senior planner/biologist/archaeologist. Ms. Bellenger adds to the strength of the biology and CEQA documentation teams, and with her qualifications as a Registered Professional Archaeologist-meeting the requirements of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Professional Qualifications for Archaeology and the Society for California Archaeology’s requirements for a principal investigator in California-she adds a new service to the company, enhancing EMC Planning Group’s “Planning for Success” high quality team approach to consulting. With the addition of Ms. Bellenger, EMC Planning Group’s services now include cultural resource management; archaeological surveys in compliance with CEQA/NEPA (Section 106), record searches, private archaeological surveys and testing, project planning and feasibility studies, data recovery, archaeological construction monitoring, and National Register of Historic Places and California Register of Historic Resources nomination and evaluation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bellenger worked as an environmental manager for another consulting firm and as a biologist for the Nevada Department of Transportation.

Ms. Bellenger received her Master of Arts in Public Archaeology from the California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management/Conservation and Wildlife Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology with a minor in biology, from the University of Nevada, Reno.
